Interested in being Team Manager?

If your team is looking for someone to step up as team manager and you feel you're right for the job, ask your Head Coach. The coach is in charge of finding the right person for the job. 

Once you've been selected to be manager, complete the Required items and check out the appropriate handbook for more detailed information.

Role of Manager

The team manager is vital to a successful season. He or she reports directly to the coach and is responsible for all off-ice duties so the coaches can focus on player development and success on the ice.  

Team manager responsibilities:

  • Communications  between association and team
  • Liaison between coach and parents
  • Maintain team binder & Roster
  • Gameday coordinator (referees, scoreboard, penalty box)
  • Travel coordinator
  • Report any SafeSport violations
  • Organize team events
  • Maintain team website

Don't feel like you have to do it all- delegate as needed!

Manager Requirements

Managers must complete the following items to be added to the official roster as a "Team Rep/Manager" :

1. USA Hockey REGISTRATION

Free -- Valid 1 season

2. USAH Background Check

$30 -- Valid 2 seasons

3. Safesport Training

Free -- Valid 1 season
