Chelsea Bulldogs House Program

ABOUT

The Chelsea Bulldogs house program offers players the opportunity to play organized hockey with an emphasis on development and fun. All house teams consist of 2 birth years of players. No players are cut. The season runs from August to March.

To keep time and cost to a minimum, 6U and 8U primarily play at the Arctic Coliseum in a true house league against other CHA players. Occasionally the team will travel for optional jamborees within a 60-minute range. If interest exists, distances may be extended.

Teams at 10U and older play in the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League but will have opportunities to play in tournaments and non-league games.  In this respect, 10U & 12U function very similarly to travel programs. In fact, many refer to house as “Travel B”. Players have 2 ice times plus 1 dryland session per week.  Additional ice time can always be added if demand exists.  For those reasons, many parents find House League Hockey to be an attractive, inexpensive alternative to travel hockey.
